How do I upgrade to PC Insiders™ World Elite® Mastercard® as an existing customer?

As an existing customer, you can easily check to see if you’re eligible to upgrade to the PC Insiders™ World Elite® Mastercard® through your PC Financial® online account.

Here's how to do it:

  • Click on the ‘sign in’ button on the PC Insiders™ World Elite Mastercard® product page or log into your mobile app to see if you are eligible for an upgrade.

  • If you are eligible, you will see a PC Insiders™ World Elite Mastercard® tile on your home screen.

  • Click on the tile displayed on the 'Home screen’ and follow the provided instructions to complete the upgrade.

Please note, you must meet the annual income requirement of $80,000 (individual) or $150,000 (household) before tax. You can confirm that your income detail is up to date under your profile.

Upgrading to PC Insiders™ World Elite Mastercard® won't have any impact on your credit score.

Can I pay my annual fee with PC Optimum™ points?

Yes, you can redeem PC Optimum™ points every year to cover all or part of your $120 annual fee. To redeem your PC Optimum™ points toward your annual fee you must meet all of the below criteria:

  • Be the primary cardholder of a PC Insiders™ World Elite® Mastercard® that’s in good standing

  • Have at least 10,000 PC Optimum™ points

  • Your annual fee has been charged to your account within the last 45 days

Follow these steps to redeem:

  • Navigate to the 'Accounts' page and select your PC Insiders™ World Elite® Mastercard®.

  • Select 'Redeem points'.

  • Select the amount of points you want to from the options available and select 'Redeem'.

  • You will receive email confirmation of your points redemption.

What happens to my existing PC Express™ Pass if I get approved for PC Insiders™ World Elite® Mastercard®?

Your current PC Optimum Insiders™ subscription will be cancelled, and you will not be able to re-enroll in the future.

You’ll also get a refund of the unused portion of your existing PC Optimum Insiders™ subscription fee to your current card on file within a few business days.

The good news is that with a PC Insiders™ World Elite® Mastercard®, you’ll experience extraordinary value everyday, including 40 points per dollar at Loblaw banner grocery stores, up to 70 points/litre (7¢/ litre in points) at Esso™ & Mobil™ stations; plus, you will get a complimentary PC Express™ Pass (valued at $99.99 per year) to enjoy unlimited $0 online grocery delivery and pickup on eligible orders of $30 or more.

How do I use my PC Express™ Pass?

It’s easy! Sign in to your favourite grocery store website using your PC™ id to shop for groceries. Choose a pickup or delivery timeslot and check out. We’ll waive the pickup or delivery fees automatically on same-day or future orders of $30 or more.  You can find your PC Express™ Pass under the “My Account” tab.
