I received a replacement card, do I need to activate my card again?

If your card was issued as a replacement for a damaged card:

Your new card will be delivered to you active and can be used right away for online or in-store purchases. If you've received a new card because your current card is expiring soon or was reported lost/stolen, all you have to do is confirm or update your PIN by following the steps listed on your new card.

However, for your first in-store purchase, you'll need to insert your card and enter your existing PIN when prompted. After completing that transaction, you'll be able to tap to pay for future in-store purchases.

If your card was replaced for other reasons (e.g., lost/stolen, product switch, card expiration etc.)

Please use one of the following options to activate your new card:

  • Once your transaction is completed, your card will be activated and can be used in-store and online.
