How do I apply for Overdraft Protection?

Watch tutorial

Overdraft Protection is a safety net for when funds in your PC Money™ Account fall below $0. Optional overdraft protection allows you to temporarily borrow funds up to your approved credit limit when you don’t have enough money in your account to complete a transaction. This may allow you to complete the transaction and avoid a Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) fee. When your account is in overdraft there is a fee charged each month in addition to interest charges on the outstanding overdraft amount. Overdraft Protection is subject to credit approval; interest and fees apply only when you use it.

Steps

  1. Sign in to your PC Financial mobile app or online account

  2. Click cards and accounts

  3. Select your PC Money™ Account

  4. Click Overdraft Protection

  5. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your desired Overdraft Protection limit amount, and some extra information we need to approve your request

  6. Confirm your request

Helpful tip
  • It may take a few days for us to review and confirm your Overdraft Protection request.

  • You can only request overdraft up to $5,000.
